PONANT 2022 Chairman's Cruise:
New exclusive 13-night ‘Fly & Cruise’ package available

PONANT has released a new and exclusive 13-night ‘Fly and Cruise’ package for their upcoming 2022 Chairman’s Cruise on board Le Paul Gauguin, offering a stress-free option to discover the magic of French Polynesia including Tahiti, the Society Islands and the Tuamotus.

The new exclusive package for the itinerary hosted by highly regarded Australian businesswoman Sarina Bratton AM, Asia Pacific Chairman of PONANT and Paul Gauguin Cruises is available to book via PONANT or preferred travel agents.

The 11-night voyage will offer an exclusively curated itinerary of shore excursions and experiences as they sail through the idyllic islands and atolls helmed by stunning clear-water lagoons, private beaches and exceptional coral reefs.

Departing 03 June 2022, the new package includes the idyllic 11-night itinerary ‘The Society Islands & the Tuamotus’ onboard refurbished luxury small ship Le Paul Gauguin in preferred stateroom category, including all meals and drinks, an exclusive enrichment program and regular complimentary shore excursions, entertainment, and gratuities, a direct return economy flight from Sydney to Papeete with Air Calin, 2-nights pre-cruise accommodation at the Intercontinental Tahiti in an Ocean View room including breakfast, and a pre-cruise Welcome Cocktail Party in Tahiti before boarding, and all transfers*

Together with Mick Fogg, Expedition Manager Asia Pacific, Paul Gauguin Cruises has hand-crafted an exceptional itinerary, showcasing spectacular islands, diverse marine environment, pristine beaches, and colourful Tahitian culture.

The itinerary will reach wonderful Moorea and Bora Bora in the Society Islands with lush rainforests and pristine lagoons; the beauty of Huahine with its distinctly recognisable volcanic silhouettes; and in the Tuamotus, Rangiroa’s enormous atoll with breath-taking underwater scenery.

Aboard the renovated ship by award-winning French designer and architect Jean-Philippe Nuel, Le Paul Gauguin offers impeccable service and fine cuisine taking inspiration from the French Polynesian lifestyle. With 165 staterooms and suites, the ship was designed to sail in Polynesian waters, her shallow draught allows her to get in close to shallow lagoons. In the heart of paradisical islands and the atolls of French Polynesia and its neighbouring archipelagos, the vessel invites guests to discover the traditional way of life and customs of Polynesia and the South Pacific.

ALL ABOUT PAUL GAUGUIN CRUISES:
  • Internationally recognised multi-award winning Le Paul Gauguin is a small ship with just 165 cabins and suites, all with sea views, designed to offer guests incredible panoramic views across the translucent waters of the South Pacific.
  • Major refurbishments of Le Paul Gauguin were carried out in early 2021, enhancing Paul Gauguin Cruises’ elegant Polynesian signature with a chic and fresh style designed to enrich guests’ experience. All staterooms, suites and public spaces were refurbished with a fresh new colour and texture palette. Designed by Studio Jean-Philippe Nuel, the new renovations evoke South Seas elegance reflective of the narrative of the islands and seas.

  • The calm ambience of the ship is maintained through impeccable, unobtrusive service provided by the ship’s onboard Polynesian hosts, who will share their knowledge and traditions throughout your voyage.
  • With three onboard restaurants available as part of the Paul Gauguin Cruises all-inclusive experience, guests will delight in the blend of French cuisine and Polynesian flavours through a unique menu carefully created by Michelin-starred Chef, Jean-Pierre Vigato.
